Medicare doesn’t cover most dental care & dental procedures, however, the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a dental benefits program for eligible children aged 2–17 years who are eligible for Medicare and who also receive at least one of the following benefits: Family Tax Benefit Part A. Carer Payment. Disability Support Pension.

The Commonwealth Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a dental benefits program for eligible children aged 2–17 years that provides benefits over two years to the child for basic dental services including examinations, X-Rays, scaling, fissure sealants, dental fillings, root canal treatments and extractions.
